Deception Pass Class 1/25/14

I got the opportunity to help two friends, Reg Lake and Dave Harris with their class at Deception Pass. They were teaching a class for WAKE, the Whatcom Association of Kayak Enthusiasts, introducing beginners to moving water and giving them room to succeed. I came on the second day, during an ebb of 6.3 knots and about 38 degrees. Beautiful, and thanks for having me along to help!
