Cape Flattery Exploration & Surf

Jason, Seth, Michelle and I headed out to Hobuck two weekends ago to attempt to paddle to Cape Flattery one more time. We arrived Friday afternoon through evening, and got on the water early Saturday. East winds 15-20 knots and W swell 5 feet at 12 seconds was predicted, and what we encountered.  We made it out to the Cape, landed, practiced a rescue and lots of timing, but really the incredible scenery and weather stole the show. Crystal clear skies and predictable, regular swell allowed us to explore back in to the caves.  I only lost a minimal amount of gel coat & pride!!
