Last week we had a great class at Deception Pass, with excellent weather, a strong group and good tidal exchanges to learn and play in a dynamic environment. Monday we played the ebb tide and Tuesday the flood, mostly in Canoe Pass but around Pass and Strawberry Islands as well. Eddying in and out of current, ferry gliding, using draws and prys to maneuver boats- we did it all. A few folks even crossed Canoe Pass (~50 yards) with 1 stroke. Beautiful weather, great group, another day at work! Here is a photo report:
